We love our freestyle action - on the mountains, the water or the streets Board sports and the like are a basic life necessity. We surf the waves, snowboard, kite-board, wake-board, skateboard and even tolerate the ski equivalents [ if we must ;-) ]. The Barbican in the City of London financial district is a Brutalist 1960s partly high rise housing complex with raised walkways, gardens, a lake with a terraced cafe, and the Barbican Centre arts hub. Both it's distinctive architecture and undeniable (sometimes eerie) ambience - love it or hate it - attract its fair share of the cultured and creative. It's therefore no secret to photographers and this presented a challenge last month to create some very original and inspiring images to showcase examples from the Flipstyler ranges.
