Some conventions and institutions just keep on going for all sorts of reasons but in reality they are simply bygone, obsolete; and a lot of people - often those with certain agendas - just prefer to turn a blind eye and see no issue
The Flipstyler x deFunkt streetwear range reminds us that much of the system has already gone this way or warns of such heading. Just think of all those industries: British, American, or indeed for that matter our "Special" UK - US relationship
deFunkt is a wake up call, exemplified by its mockery of entrenched symbols of authority: © and ® for Copyright and Registered trademark respectively, that get lampooned with the 
suffix instead, which is basically an F... to the establishment. Certainly the word is made even more counterculture misspelled so and wrongly capitalised
And all evidenced upon our Flipstyler x deFunkt T shirts; indeed the motif on our sweatshirts, at 90 degrees and offset from centre, is a design at odds with the across-the-chest convention. Hoodies and singlets / tank tops shall follow!
